 In the summer, GEMS and the Greenwich Police Department Marine Division join forces on weekends and holidays. A GEMS paramedic is assigned to a GPD patrol boat, ensuring Advanced Life Support capability to boaters and to the Town’s offshore islands and beaches. In 2009, in a jointly funded project, GEMS and the GPD purchased a new water rescue crane. |
